Running Down Dementia
Push yourself even further this year with our winter Running Down Dementia challenge. We’re setting you the task of braving the elements, getting out there and getting moving for dementia research.
Running Down Dementia is an award-winning virtual running challenge from Alzheimer’s Research UK and parkrun, supported by Garmin. It’s a challenge well loved by our fantastic supporters, so we’re bringing it back this winter to give you another chance to show dementia what you’re made of.
This is your challenge, whether you choose to run at home on a treadmill, at the gym, or out in the open. With every step you take between 1 November and 31 January, you’ll help fund major breakthroughs in dementia research.
We're challenging you to run 100km (Pioneer), 300km (Epic) or a distance of your choice (Maverick) and raise £100 for cutting-edge dementia research. When you raise £200 you'll get a free Running Down Dementia t-shirt!
Brave the colder weather alone or get a group together for motivation on those icy mornings. However you take on the challenge, you’ll be helping us to make a difference.
